No. You share a link and they click it and play straight away. No account, no download, no sign-up. Kids, their friends, and their cousins can all play without any setup on their end.

Captain Tiles uses one-time passes, not subscriptions. You pay once for 7 days, 3 months, or a year. No automatic renewals, no surprise charges. Renew when you're ready.

Your photos are stored privately and securely. They are never publicly accessible, never shared with advertisers, and never used for AI training. They're permanently deleted when you remove them or close your account.

Classic memory matching. Cards are laid face-down in a grid. Players flip two at a time — find a matching pair and the cards disappear, no match and they flip back. No timer, no move counter, no pressure. A hint button is always available for younger players.

Up to 20 games per account. Each game can have up to 24 cards (12 photo pairs). You can delete old games to make room for new ones, and your uploaded photos are cleaned up automatically when they're no longer in use.

Yes. From your dashboard you can edit any existing game to swap photos, change the theme, or adjust the puzzle size. You can also create entirely new games at any time, reusing photos you've already uploaded or adding new ones. Each game gets its own shareable link, so you can have a different one for different occasions.

Yes, there are simple sound effects for card matches and when the game is won. If you're at the dinner table or bedtime is approaching, there's a sound toggle button right in the game itself so you or the kids can mute it without leaving the game.

Captain Tiles works in any modern browser on phones, tablets, laptops, and desktops. No app required. Build on any device, share the link, and it plays on any device.

Not yet, but we're working on it. Captain Tiles runs as a web app right now, which means it works great in your phone's browser with nothing to install. A dedicated iOS and Android app is on the roadmap.
